SVP Communications is having another "Wild Wednesday" 24 hour sale running from noon today (21st May). That actually makes it "Wild Wednesday and part of Thursday" but I guess that's not such a snappy title. There are a few good deals up for grabs though. To see the lot click here*.
Notable inclusions are the Toshiba DVR17 DVD/VHS Combi Recorder*, mentioned on the main blog and they're also selling 22" HD ready TVs both with* and without* digital tuners. The analogue version is slightly more expensive at £209.99 compared to the digital version at £189.99. Be aware if you're considering these sets that some commentators believe that you can't really appreciate HD TV on sets smaller than 32", although they may well be people trying to flog you a bigger telly.
Another notable, but much cheaper deal is this CD/DVD carry case* which holds 240 discs. It costs £1.99 in the sale and is a great way to tidy up the collection of drinks coasters that inevitably collect around most PCs.
